The Hong Kong Space Museum is dedicated to the popularization of astronomy and space science located in the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. It is dubbed as the first of its kind in Hong Kong. This government-owned facility first opened to the public in 1980 and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
The museum is housed in a 8,000-square metre modern structure featuring a dome that has made the building one of the most famous landmarks in Hong Kong. Under the egg-shaped dome is the museum’s planetarium. Read more
